Summary: The Sr. SAP Data Migration Lead will oversee the complete data migration process for SAP implementation projects, ensuring data integrity and compliance while collaborating with various teams. This role requires extensive experience in SAP data migration, particularly in high-volume e-commerce environments. The position is remote, allowing work from anywhere in the US or Canada, preferably in the PST time zone. The contract duration is 10 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute SAP data migration strategies aligned with business and project requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and technical teams to define migration scope and requirements.
- Design, develop, and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using SAP tools.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across SAP and legacy systems.
- Manage data cleansing, validation, and enrichment activities for large-scale datasets.
- Utilize SAP migration tools such as LSMW, SAP BODS, and SAP Migration Cockpit for efficient data movement.
- Develop and execute data migration plans, schedules, and test strategies; perform reconciliation and validation post-migration.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration.
- Document migration processes, issues, and resolutions; provide guidance and support to teams on best practices.

- Strong knowledge of SAP modules (FI, CO, SD, MM) and underlying data structures.
