Sr. Salesforce Enterprise Architect Remote (Need Locals to VA, DC, MD) W2/1099

Summary: The Senior Salesforce Enterprise Architect will lead enterprise modernization initiatives across Salesforce GovCloud, Health Cloud, AWS Cloud, and enterprise data platforms. This role demands a strong architecture mindset and leadership presence to influence senior stakeholders in regulated public-sector environments. The position is remote, with a preference for candidates located in the Reston, VA, Washington DC, or Maryland area. A minimum of 12 years of experience is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise modernization initiatives across Salesforce GovCloud, Health Cloud, AWS Cloud, and enterprise data platforms.
• Influence senior stakeholders in regulated public-sector environments.
• Implement architecture frameworks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Oversee data modeling, governance, and master data management.
• Develop API strategies and manage multi-cloud architecture.

Key Skills:

• 10+ years in Enterprise Architecture.
• 8+ years of Salesforce & multi-cloud architecture experience.
• Knowledge of Salesforce GovCloud, Health Cloud, MuleSoft, and API strategy.
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards: FHIR / HL7.
• Experience with AWS Serverless Architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, S3, RDS, DynamoDB).
• Data modeling, data governance, and MDM expertise.
• Regulatory & compliance experience (FedRAMP, HIPAA, CMS, FISMA).
• Architecture frameworks & certifications (TOGAF, Salesforce Architect Certifications, AWS Solutions Architect preferred).
• Strong executive presence and excellent stakeholder influence & leadership skills.
• Clear, confident communication skills in spoken and written English.
