Summary: The Senior QA Engineer role is a contract-to-perm position focused on manual and automated testing within the healthcare industry. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute manual and automated testing strategies for database-driven applications and data pipelines.
  • Develop and maintain test cases and automation scripts for Oracle PL/SQL data structures and pipelines.
  • Validate data transformations, integrations, and database logic to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Utilize AI-assisted tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) to accelerate test creation, debugging, and test maintenance.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and rapid development cycles.
  • Perform root cause analysis and debugging for defects within database, pipeline, and integration layers.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers and data engineers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Contribute to improving QA processes, automation coverage, and testing efficiency.

Our client in the healthcare industry is seeking a Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in both manual testing and test automation, along with the ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate quality engineering workflows.

This is a highly hands-on role focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of database-driven systems, data pipelines, and integrations, with a particular emphasis on Oracle PL/SQL environments. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with data structures, database logic, and integration pipelines, while utilizing modern AI-enabled tools such as Copilot, Claude Code, or similar platforms to rapidly develop and maintain test coverage and debugging workflows.

This position requires someone who can operate effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment, collaborate closely with development teams, and contribute to both manual validation and automated test coverage.
