Sr QA Automated Engineer

Summary: The Sr QA Automated Engineer role involves leading testing teams and performing advanced computer systems analysis within the Quality Assurance section of IT-SEDS. The position requires collaboration with development teams to automate testing processes and improve existing systems. Key responsibilities include creating and executing automated test cases, performing SQL queries, and conducting performance testing. This is a remote position based in the USA, classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer daily operations and activities of testing teams within the Quality Assurance section.
• Analyze user requirements and design documents to develop detailed test cases.
• Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases against various report formats.
• Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data.
• Collaborate with development teams to define and implement test case automation.
• Execute performance and accessibility testing.
• Conduct manual testing and data validation.

Key Skills:

• 7 years of experience in testing complex Web Applications.
• 7 years of experience in testing all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• 7 years of testing automation experience with Selenium and TestNG.
• 5 years of advanced Database/SQL language experience.
• 3 years of experience with Java Programming Language.
• 2 years of experience using Apache POI and Apache PDFBox.
• 2 years of experience with performance testing tools like WAPT Pro or Jmeter.
• 3 years of experience parsing WebTables to verify results (preferred).
• 2 years of previous experience with Zephyr Scale (preferred).
• 2 years of previous experience with JIRA (preferred).
