Summary: The role of Sr. Programmer focuses on leveraging extensive experience in IBM i (AS/400) and Cobol programming to support and sustain a mature technical environment. The position requires the candidate to work remotely with the expectation of onsite presence once a month. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and support COBOL applications on IBM i (AS/400).
- Utilize CL, DDS, and DB2 for i (SQL) in application development.
- Work with IBM i tools such as Access Client Solutions (ACS) and Navigator for i.
- Manage batch processing and job scheduling.
- Participate in planned maintenance, upgrades, urgent troubleshooting, and migration activities during non-business hours.
- Support Hyland's OnBase WorkView platform.
- Act as a primary technical authority for the IBM i environment and COBOL-based applications.
