Summary: The Sr. Product Manager will lead the discovery, development, and deployment of legal software solutions, focusing on value management and risk mitigation. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with legal team objectives and enterprise standards. The position demands strong leadership and problem-solving skills, along with extensive experience in product management within an Agile environment. The role is contract-to-hire for a duration of 12 months and can be performed remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive discovery, prioritization, development, and deployment of legal software solutions.
- Lead roadmap planning and story mapping activities.
- Measure success based on value creation and risk mitigation using product analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Define, track, and manage Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
- Evaluate and prioritize product features and software investments aligned with legal team objectives.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for legal team product needs, requirements, and goals.
- Conduct end-user interviews, shadowing sessions, and stakeholder discussions to identify business challenges and opportunities.
- Use data to develop quantifiable problem statements and solution hypotheses.
- Lead user communications, change management efforts, and training initiatives for new product capabilities.
- Partner with IT and Product teams to navigate internal processes and support sprint planning and development efforts.
- Advocate for legal team priorities, remove roadblocks, identify dependencies, and escalate issues as needed.
- Collaborate closely with security, compliance, and IT risk teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards and timelines.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 8+ years of Product Management experience in an Agile environment focused on digital products.
- Strong business acumen, curiosity, and leadership mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience managing vendor evaluations, conducting RFP processes, and overseeing third-party software implementations.
- Experience building health-tech products and launching 0-to-1 products from concept through delivery.
- Industry experience in Legal Operations, Legal Technology, AI-enabled products, or related domains is highly valued and may substitute for direct product management experience.
