Job Description & Skill Requirement
- Provide technical and sustaining engineering support to manufacturing operations.
- Recommend and implement equipment and process improvements to enhance quality, production efficiency, and product yield.
- Lead development, optimization, and transfer of manufacturing processes into production.
- Evaluate manufacturing feasibility, material selection, tooling, fixtures, and equipment requirements.
- Support equipment selection, installation, and process implementation activities.
- Collaborate with Product Design and Development teams to ensure manufacturability and process compatibility.
- Develop and implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies and measurement systems.
- Perform statistical analysis and data-driven process improvements.
- Manage cross-functional projects involving manufacturing technologies, process improvements, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership where required.
- Must-Have Skills: Manufacturing Process Development, Process Optimization, SPC, Statistical Analysis, Equipment Integration, Technology Transfer, Continuous Improvement, Project Management.
- Preferred Skills: Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Process Validation, MSA, Root Cause Analysis, DFM, Equipment Qualification, Regulatory Compliance.
