Summary: The Sr. Power Platform Developer is responsible for designing and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Canvas and Model-driven apps, Dataverse, and Power BI. The role requires extensive experience in SharePoint Online and Microsoft Copilot, along with strong documentation and communication skills. The developer will act as a Subject Matter Expert and collaborate on complex solutions that meet business requirements. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop solutions in Microsoft Power Platform (Canvas apps, Model-driven apps, Dataverse, Power BI dashboards & reports, Power Automate).
  • Customize SharePoint Online solutions (SPFx, JSON, workflows, integration with Power Platform).
  • Develop with Microsoft Copilot (Copilot Studio, prompt engineering, integration with Power Platform and M365 apps).
  • Administer at least two of the following: Power Platform, SharePoint, Azure/Entra ID, Dynamics 365, Exchange.
  • Develop solutions with Microsoft products and related technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure, .NET, JavaScript).
  • Implement solution-based Power Platform development, including ALM and promoting solutions across DEV, QA, and PROD.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into complex solutions spanning SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Copilot technologies.
  • Create technical and non-technical documentation, including solution architecture, configuration, and user guides.
  • Utilize custom connectors, Power Platform CoE, AI Builder, Power Virtual Agents, and Power Pages.
  • Work with Azure Entra (Azure AD) Service Principals and integrate Azure resources with MPP and Power BI development.
  • Use scripting/programming languages such as PowerShell, .NET, JavaScript, and Python in the context of Power Platform and SharePoint.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Power Platform, SharePoint Online, and Copilot development, governance, and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

  • 5+ years' experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Canvas apps, Model-driven apps, Dataverse, Power BI).
  • 5+ years' experience with SharePoint Online solutions (SPFx, JSON, workflows).
  • 2+ years' experience with Microsoft Copilot (Copilot Studio, prompt engineering).
  • 5+ years in at least two admin roles (Power Platform, SharePoint, Azure/Entra ID, Dynamics 365, Exchange).
  • 5-10 years developing solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure, .NET, JavaScript.
  • Experience with solution-based Power Platform development and ALM.
  • Ability to gather and translate business requirements into solutions.
  • Strong documentation skills for solution architecture and user guides.
  • Familiarity with custom connectors and Power Platform tools.
  • Experience with Azure Entra (Azure AD) and Power BI development.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (PowerShell, .NET, JavaScript, Python).
  • Ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
