Summary: The role of Sr. Oracle PL SQL Developer involves extensive development and scripting using PL/SQL, Python, and various technologies in a Linux environment. The position requires hands-on experience in coding, testing, and reviewing software, along with the ability to analyze requirements and design new features. The candidate will also be responsible for producing documentation and supporting testing environments. This is a remote position based in the USA, classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Code, test, and review SWIFT software using technologies including OCI/ProC and Oracle.
- Perform requirement analysis and design new features and enhancements to existing components.
- Produce and update solution papers and design documents.
- Support the setup of test environments and write unit test drivers and functional drivers.
- Provide support to test environments, QA, and production as necessary.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in C/C++.
- 5+ years of experience in Linux.
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle.
- 5+ years of experience in PL/SQL.
- 5+ years of experience in Python.
- Hands-on experience with PL/SQL, SQL, Unix, Perl, and XML.
- Experience with Ansible, YAML, and Shell Scripting.
