Summary: We are looking for a Sr. Network Engineer to facilitate the deployment of SD-WAN and related hardware across approximately 68 remote offices. The position involves remote configuration, collaboration with on-site teams, and providing Tier 3 support for network issues. Candidates must be located in the DMV area (Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia) and available to start within two weeks. The role requires expertise in Fortinet and Cisco Meraki technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and deploy Fortinet and Cisco Meraki hardware remotely
- Coordinate with on-site staff and third-party vendors for hardware shipment and installation
- Validate hardware and circuit installations
- Provide Tier 3 support for network incidents
- Perform routine network operations (firewall updates, switchport changes, documentation, etc.)
Key Skills:
- Fortinet FortiGate, Fortinet Secure SD-WAN, FortiManager
- Cisco Meraki switches and wireless access points
- Experience with nationwide hardware deployments
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, SolarWinds, PagerDuty, JIRA (preferred)
- Agile experience and relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Net+) preferred
