Sr. .NET Full Stack Developer

Summary: We are seeking an experienced .NET Full Stack Developer to support the redevelopment of a legacy system. The role involves modernizing an existing system by upgrading to the latest version of .NET and SQL Server 2019. The developer will work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure code quality throughout the project. This position is remote, with a preference for candidates local to Virginia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rebuild and modernize the backend architecture
• Good Pl/SQL experience
• Work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates
• Collaborate with the project manager and team to define and document system requirements
• Ensure code quality, system reliability, and proper documentation throughout development
• Participate in regular communication with government agencies or public sector teams as needed

Key Skills:

• Strong experience in .NET development (preferably with legacy to modern migration exposure)
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, ideally SQL Server 2019
• Familiarity with system integration and API development
• Ability to follow directions from both technical and non-technical personnel
• Strong communication and documentation skills
