Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement healthcare data integrations with external health networks (QHINs and nationwide HIEs).
  • Build high-performance RESTful API frameworks supporting FHIR-based interoperability.
  • Implement FHIR R4 APIs and OAuth 2.0 security models for third-party integrations.
  • Create detailed technical documentation including interface specs, data maps, and architecture diagrams.

Key Skills:

  • 5-7+ years of hands-on healthcare interoperability engineering.
  • Strong understanding of FHIR API development and RESTful service design.
  • Proficiency in Python for data transformations and interface scripting.
  • Deep knowledge of HL7 FHIR R4 resources, extensions, implementation guides (US Core, Argonaut, Da Vinci).

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Integration Engineer to support one of our premier consulting clients. This role is ideal for engineers with deep expertise in FHIR, HL7, and clinical interoperability workflows.
