Summary: The Sr. ETL Developer role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing high-performance ETL pipelines for enterprise data repositories. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement scalable, high-performance ETL pipelines that load data into enterprise repositories.
- Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain complex ETL processes, data integrations, and data transformation workflows.
- Create and optimize advanced T-SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, and database objects.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot SSRS reports and reporting solutions.
- Extract data from cloud environments such as Azure and Snowflake and stage data within on-premises environments.
- Build and prepare datasets for AI and analytics teams, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Partner with AI teams to understand data requirements, perform data mapping, and extract data from multiple source systems.
- Monitor, review, and schedule ETL jobs while proactively resolving performance bottlenecks.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide operational support for enterprise BI and ETL environments.
- Lead efforts to diagnose query performance issues and collaborate with DBAs to resolve database locking and optimization challenges.
- Review existing data integrations and recommend enhancements to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Conduct peer code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards before production deployments.
- Maintain technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and SharePoint documentation repositories.
- Support and enhance Business Intelligence functionality and enterprise reporting solutions.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, and Query Optimization.
- Experience developing and supporting ETL solutions and enterprise data warehouses.
- Hands-on experience with Azure and Snowflake environments.
- Experience with SSRS report development and troubleshooting.
