Summary: We are seeking two Senior IT Software Developer contractors to support a Service Management team focused on delivering software solutions for telematics-related business platforms. The role involves designing, building, and supporting a high-volume telemetry data processing pipeline for IoT devices in AWS, utilizing services such as S3, SQS, Lambda, and DynamoDB. Contractors will work in an Agile Scrum environment and contribute to initiatives that drive business growth. This position is remote, allowing flexibility in work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and support a high-volume telemetry data processing pipeline for IoT devices in AWS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve resiliency and performance.
- Help reduce overall cost of ownership.
- Support the full application lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with software developers, systems analysts, QA analysts, release and deployment analysts, and business stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 7 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
- Completion of a technical training program and 4 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications (alternative qualification).
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology related field of study and 4 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications (alternative qualification).
