Summary: The Sr. Data Analyst role is a remote position focused on leading analytical projects to enhance digital product development through data-driven insights. The candidate will utilize advanced statistical techniques and tools, particularly Python and SQL, to influence product roadmaps and improve user experiences. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to mentor junior team members. The role is structured as a 6-month contract-to-hire (CTH) arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end analytical projects to identify high-impact product opportunities and friction points in the player journey
- Act as a strategic thought partner to product leadership, influencing roadmaps and prioritization with data-driven insights
- Apply and guide advanced statistical techniques such as regression, Bayesian inference, and time series forecasting
- Build predictive models to forecast player behavior and measure impact over time
- Conduct A/B testing and experimentation
- Visualize data and communicate findings effectively
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in product or behavioral analytics
- Advanced proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, SciPy, Statsmodels) and SQL
- Experience with Dash and Snowflake strongly preferred
- Deep expertise in experimentation, causal inference, and behavioral modeling
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Degree in a quantitative field; Master’s degree preferred
- Experience mentoring or supporting the development of junior team members

Qualifications & Requirements
5+ years of experience in product or behavioral analytics, with proven impact on digital product development
Advanced proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, SciPy, Statsmodels) and SQL; experience with Dash and Snowflake strongly preferred
Deep expertise in experimentation, causal inference, and behavioral modeling
Demonstrated ability to lead analytical initiatives and collaborate across product, engineering, and UX
Strong communication and presentation skills, with a track record of influencing decisions at the leadership level
Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science); Master degree preferred
Experience mentoring or supporting the development of junior team members
