Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Developer with strong hands-on experience in AWS serverless development, Python, AWS Lambda, and Terraform.
The ideal candidate will have a strong Java development background but have transitioned to Python and AWS, with at least 4+ years focused on Python-based AWS development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud-native applications using Python and AWS Lambda from scratch.
- Modernize, migrate, and rewrite applications using serverless AWS technologies.
- Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).
- Work with API Gateway, Kafka, and core AWS services.
- Contribute to system design and cloud architecture decisions.
- Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10–15+ years of U.S. experience.
- Strong cloud-native AWS development background.
- Hands-on Python-based AWS Lambda development.
- Strong Terraform experience.
- Experience with Kafka and API Gateway.
- Strong understanding of system design and AWS architecture.
- Java development background with a successful transition to Python/AWS/serverless.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Not a Fit
- Candidates primarily focused on Java, DevOps, or SRE, or those without strong hands-on Python AWS Lambda development experience.
