SQL Server Developer

Summary: We are seeking a skilled SQL Server Developer with expertise in APIs, Web Services, and Identity Governance Administration (IGA) for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SQL Server development and integration, particularly with IGA solutions like Saviynt or SailPoint. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and security while developing technical documentation. The position is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Build and maintain APIs and web services for data integration between internal systems and external applications.
• Collaborate with the identity and access management team to implement and support IGA solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, security, and performance.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and testing to maintain code quality and scalability.
• Develop technical documentation for database structures, APIs, and integration processes.

Key Skills:

• 3-5 years of professional experience as a SQL Server Developer.
• Proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning, and database optimization.
• Strong understanding of APIs (REST/SOAP) and web service integration.
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience with IGA implementation – Saviynt preferred, SailPoint acceptable.
• Familiarity with data governance, access control, and identity management concepts.
• Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with remote teams.
