Summary: We are looking for a Senior SQL Developer to design, develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL solutions for enterprise applications and data platforms. The candidate should possess extensive experience in SQL Server development, performance tuning, and ETL processes, and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Perform query optimization and database performance tuning for large-scale data sets.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
- Work with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical database solutions.
- Design and implement data models, schemas (Star, Snowflake), indexes, and partitions.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across databases.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for SQL development.
- Collaborate with application developers, BI teams, and data engineers to ensure seamless integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, performance bottlenecks, and query failures.
- Support database upgrades, migrations, and deployment activities.
Key Skills:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019 or higher).
- Expertise in writing T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and performance tuning.
- Experience with ETL tools (SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, normalization, indexing, and query optimization.
- Experience with cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or similar) is a plus.
- Familiarity with SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau for reporting and integration.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and version control (Git/DevOps).
