Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and optimize high-performance ETL pipelines to ingest 400+ files daily from diverse sources without delays.
  • Take full ownership of SQL scripting, writing complex stored procedures from scratch to automate data processing.
  • Design, tune, and maintain existing ETL processes to improve efficiency and system reliability.
  • Build and deliver sophisticated analytical reports to provide stakeholders with actionable business intelligence.
  • Collaborate on the migration and integration of data within the Azure Data Platform ecosystem.

Key Skills:

  • Mastery of the MSBI Stack, including expert-level SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and T-SQL development skills.
  • Proven experience developing robust ETL pipelines and writing complex stored procedures from a blank slate.
  • Strong technical familiarity with the Azure Data Platform, specifically Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and a background in building reports for high-level analytics.
  • The ability to work at pace in a remote setting and deliver immediate value to a London-based project.

We're working with a leading London-based data consultancy specializing in high-volume information management on this exciting opportunity. We are seeking a heavy-hitting SQL expert to solve complex data ingestion challenges for a high-traffic environment. This is a high-impact role where you will be tasked with optimizing a critical pipeline responsible for importing over 400 deep-data files daily with zero latency. You will leverage the full MSBI stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) and T-SQL to ensure seamless data flow and reporting accuracy.
