Summary: The SQL Developer role is a contract position based in London, requiring immediate availability. The successful candidate will focus on developing ETL pipelines and writing stored procedures, with an emphasis on handling a high volume of data files daily. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop ETL pipelines from various sources.
- Design, tune, and maintain existing ETL processes.
- Write stored procedures from scratch using SQL.
- Assist in uploading/importing over 400 files daily without delays.
- Utilize Azure Data Platform tools such as Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse.
- Build reports for analytics and maintain strong Excel skills.
- Employ MSBI skills including SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, SQL, and T-SQL.
Key Skills:
- Strong SQL scripting skills.
- Experience in developing ETL pipelines.
- Ability to write stored procedures from scratch.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Platform.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Knowledge of building reports for analytics.
- Proficient in MSBI tools: SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, SQL, T-SQL.

I am currently looking for a strong SQL Developer. My London based client is looking to get someone started immediately.
As a SQL Server/ ETL Developer you will have strong SQL Scripting skills and have the ability to Write stored procedures from scratch. The client is in the process of trying to upload/import over 400 files on a daily basis with no delays.
Location: Remote
Length: 6 months with strong view to extend
Day Rate: £250 Per Day - Dependent on experience
IR35 Status: Outside of IR35
Required experience will include:
- You will need experience developing ETL pipelines from various sources.
- Experience designing, tuning and maintaining existing ETL Processes.
- The ability to write stored procedures from scratch using SQL.
- Experience with Azure Data Platform will be beneficial. Including Data Factory, Databricks and Synapse
- Strong Excel Skills
- Strong knowledge of building reports for analytics
- Strong MSBI Skills: SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, SQL, T-SQL.
