SQL Developer and Reporting Analyst

Position Summary: The SQL Developer and Reporting Analyst will report to the Technical Operations Lead, within the Virtual Recall organization within Digital Data and Analytics, and drive analytics efforts in support of the digital and analytics strategy of Zoetis. This is a remote role under contract until November with the potential to extend.

Responsibilities: This position will be accountable to:

• Gather requirements from end users, integrate the needed data sources use ETL tools and technologies, and build rapid Proof-of-Concept (POC) analytics solutions.
• Compose complex SQL queries to collect and aggregate data from MS SQL databases.
• Build data visualizations and dashboards using technology, such as Power BI.
• Interpret and extract actionable business insights, patterns, and trends from the data.
• Present data insights and analytics solutions to business and Zoetis Tech and Digital (ZTD) colleagues in a clear and understandable manner.

Qualifications (Training, Education, & Prior Experience): Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or closely related field Experience executing analytics efforts in a company: · BSc degree and 5 years of experience

Knowledge, Skills, Ability Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, Ability Requirements:

• Highly skilled in SQL Server, Relational Databases, Data Warehouses, Data Retrievals and complex querying
• Strong understanding of and experience using data visualization tools and technology, such as Power BI.
• Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Basic understanding of advanced analytics and data science models and methodology, such as statistical analysis, algorithm development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, text mining, natural language processing, and optimization
• Experience with coding in other programming languages such as Python, R, SAS, Java, DAX etc.
• Prefer experience executing analytics in a commercial space.
• Understanding of cloud-based tools and technology.
• Understanding of source control and collaboration tools (e.g. Git and Github Enterprise).
• Understanding of international commercial markets and operations.
• Effective teamwork.
• Learning agility.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, managing complex cross functional deliverables.
• Ability to prioritize across multiple projects and business needs.
