Be part of our Global Engineering Network! One of our clients, a leader in IT services is looking for an experienced SQL Database Administrator.

As a SQL Database Administrator, your primary focus will be on incident troubleshooting and resolution. You will work closely with the application development team and the IT team in general to ensure the availability, security, and performance of our SQL databases. You will preform analysis and problem management for application specific issues.

Key Deliverables-

  • Database Maintenance: Assist in the installation, configuration, and upgrading of SQL database systems. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backup, recovery, and index rebuilding to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Monitor database performance regularly, identify bottlenecks, and work with the team to optimize SQL queries and database performance. Proactively resolve issues to maintain system stability and responsiveness.
  • Security and Compliance: Collaborate with the development team to implement access controls, data encryption, and other security measures to safeguard sensitive information. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Assist in identifying and resolving database-related issues promptly. Work closely with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and provide timely support to end-users.
  • Database Documentation: Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Data Migration: Collaborate with the team to facilitate the seamless migration of data between different database systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
