Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the ServiceNow platform primarily within the SPM module.
- Configure and customize the out-of-box system to meet business needs.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support to teams and individuals.
- Work closely with the ServiceNow Solutions Architect to design and implement requirements.
- Create and maintain integrations with other systems.
- Maintain Service Catalog Items and configure strategic planning and project management workspaces.
- Develop scripts and workflows to increase automation.
- Assist requesters in refining business requirement details.
- Design and implement SPM solutions including workflows, Catalog items, and integrations.
- Work within the Agile methodology to develop, build, and test solutions.
- Assist with regular ServiceNow version upgrades.

SPM ServiceNow Developer
Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires an experienced SPM ServiceNow Developer.
This is a fully remote role.
This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start ASAP
Day rate: Competitive Market rate
In this role, the ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the ServiceNow platform primarily within the SPM module, configuring and customising the out of box system to meet the business needs, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support to a variety of teams and individuals in a dynamic Agile environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with the ServiceNow Solutions Architect to design and implement requirements from the SPM Process Team, creating and maintaining integrations with other systems, maintaining Service Catalog Items, configuring the strategic planning and project management workspaces, developing scripts and workflows, and increasing automation to make the business more efficient and effective through ServiceNow SPM.
For this position, the client is seeking a candidate with particular experience in implementing and supporting the SPM module, who can resolve complex technical problems while ensuring minimal disruption to the environment.
Key Requirements:
- At least 3+ years' experience working with the ServiceNow platform, specifically in the SPM module, and with good familiarity with ITSM, and the general ServiceNow platform
- Have the ability to assist requesters in refining business requirement details to ensure the customers will be receiving functionality requested
- Gain knowledge of the overall ServiceNow implementation to understand and identify cross platform impacts of changes or enhancements being requested
- Design, develop, and implement SPM solutions including workflows, Catalog items, workspaces, and integrations to meet complex business requirements
- Configure and customise the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs to extend capabilities and enhance user experience
- Design and implement workflows to support business needs and increase automation
- Develop and configure integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using integration spokes or custom APIs
- Work within the Agile methodology to develop, build and test alongside other developers to ensure the best product is delivered to requestors in a timely manner
- Work with implementation partners, or internal project teams to implement new modules as business needs evolve
- Assist with regular ServiceNow version upgrades to ensure we remain compliant and supported by the vendor
