Summary: The role of Splunk Engineer involves working on a contract basis for a leading consultancy, focusing on building and developing new observability platforms. Synergize Consulting are now hiring for a Splunk Engineer to work at a leading consultancy client on a contract basis.
The successful candidate will be working within a large and dynamic project team, taking responsibility for building, developing and setting up new observability platforms.
They will also take responsibility for supporting a POV and subsequent multiple client onboards to the platform. Overseeing and supporting the rollout and move to new features of the product will be a key requirement.
Experience required:
- Strong experience with Splunk software and related features, including experience of having developed new observability platforms.
- A strong knowledge of the most recent Splunk add-ons and features
- Excellent ITSI (Service Intelligence) knowledge
- Migration/move experience between Splunk features, including a knowledge of Adaptive Thresholds and event correlation.
- Previous experience in a consultancy environment would be desirable, but not essential
- Excellent ability to produce proof of concepts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
