Splunk Dashboard Developer/Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Create and optimize SPL (Search Processing Language) queries for monitoring and analytics.
• Convert business and operational requirements into effective dashboards and reports.
• Develop dashboards for system performance, application monitoring, security, and operational metrics.
• Configure alerts, scheduled searches, reports, and notifications.
• Work with stakeholders to identify relevant KPIs, metrics, and data sources.
• Troubleshoot and optimize dashboard performance and search queries.
• Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain dashboard documentation and follow development standards.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise and Splunk dashboards.
• Strong knowledge of SPL and search optimization.
• Experience creating charts, tables, drilldowns, filters, and interactive visualizations.
• Understanding of Splunk indexes, sourcetypes, fields, events, and data models.
• Experience with alerts, reports, scheduled searches, and dashboards.
• Basic understanding of logs, monitoring, and application/infrastructure metrics.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
