Specialist – IT Apps Dev/Remote

Job Summary

We are looking for a Specialist – IT Applications Development to design, develop, maintain, and support business applications. The role involves working closely with business and technology teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and efficient IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain business applications based on functional and technical requirements.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following development standards.
• Perform application testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Support application deployments and production issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, and usability.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and development activities.
• Provide technical support and root-cause analysis for application issues.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of software development concepts and SDLC.
• Hands-on experience with one or more programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs / Web Services.
• Knowledge of Git/source control.
• Good understanding of application development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with .NET / Java / Angular / React or relevant technology stacks.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with application monitoring and performance optimization.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
