Summary: The role of Security Business Analyst (SOX) involves supporting and enhancing the end-to-end SOX life cycle for a global technology organization. The position requires a strong understanding of SOX requirements and IT General Controls (ITGCs), with the ability to operate independently in a high-accountability environment. The analyst will engage with stakeholders to ensure compliance and improve IT control processes. This is a 6-month contract position that is outside IR35 and offers a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the end-to-end SOX life cycle, including control design, documentation, testing support, and remediation tracking
  • Maintaining and enhancing documentation for IT General Controls and automated controls, ensuring ongoing audit readiness
  • Partnering with control owners to guide them through control operation, evidence collection, and remediation activities
  • Mapping and analysing existing IT controls across systems in scope
  • Tracking actions, issues, and remediation items across multiple stakeholder groups, ensuring clear ownership and timely resolution
  • Providing clear, concise updates into programme-level and executive reporting forums
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of IT control processes, governance frameworks, and supporting documentation
  • Managing workload, priorities, and deadlines independently

  • Strong, demonstrable experience supporting SOX compliance across IT controls
  • Clear understanding of SOX requirements, particularly ITGC and automated control environments
  • High attention to detail, particularly across documentation, evidence, and control tracking

Fruition are working in partnership with a global, technology first organisation seeking a SOX Business Analyst with to support and enhance their end-to-end SOX life cycle.

This role requires a strong understanding of SOX requirements, ITGCs, and automated controls, capable of operating independently in a high-accountability environment.

What you'll be doing:
