Solutions Architect x 3 - Remote

Summary: The role of Solutions Architect involves designing and assuring information systems for a leading UK defence and security organization. The position requires leading the definition and delivery of effective architectures that align with business objectives across multiple projects. Candidates will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the integrity of designs and provide expert advice on best practices. This is a remote position aimed at experienced professionals in IT solutions delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and assure solution architectures across a wide range of enterprise IT systems
• Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to design fit-for-purpose solutions
• Lead technical governance, ensure design integrity, and support delivery through to implementation
• Provide expert advice on tools, methods, and best practices to support business improvement and innovation

Key Skills:

• Proven experience delivering complex IT/IM&T solutions and acting as Technical Authority
• Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and IT service lifecycles (e.g., ITIL)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with ERP, procurement, and supplier management systems
• Degree in IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Chartered IT or Engineering professional membership is desirable
