Solutions Architect: IV (Lead) - Dynamics 365 Solutions Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a Dynamics 365 Solutions Architect (Lead) to lead the design, governance, architecture, and operational success of enterprise-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Sales, Customer Insights Journeys, Dataverse, and Power Platform, and a proven ability to deliver scalable, secure, and supportable solutions aligned to business objectives and technology standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions across multiple environments.
• Drive technical proofs of concept to evaluate feasibility and validate architecture approaches.
• Partner with the Technical Lead to transition approved POCs into scalable, supportable solution designs and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to define solution strategy, inform product roadmaps, and identify future requirements.
• Define and maintain platform strategy, governance standards, and architectural roadmaps for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
• Design scalable and secure solutions using Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Sales, Customer Insights Journeys, Dataverse, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
• Establish environment management strategies for Production, Sandbox, Development, and Test environments.
• Translate business requirements into solution architecture and technical designs with business and technical stakeholders.
• Lead solution reviews, design sessions, technical workshops, and architecture governance activities.
• Oversee deployment strategies and release management processes.
• Design and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Power Platform Pipelines.
• Define ALM standards, deployment processes, and source control practices.
• Architect integrations between Dynamics 365, Azure services, enterprise applications, APIs, and third-party systems.
• Ensure platform security, compliance, scalability, reliability, and operational readiness.
• Troubleshoot complex platform, integration, application, and performance issues.
• Mentor developers, administrators, and technical team members on best practices and architectural standards.
• Collaborate with Microsoft support and vendors on critical platform issues.
• Support licensing optimization, capacity planning, monitoring, and cost management activities.
• Maintain architecture documentation, standards, support procedures, and solution roadmaps.
• Participate in operational support and production issue resolution as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years designing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
• 5+ years as a Dynamics 365 Solution Architect or Lead Technical Architect.
• Expertise with Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Insights Journeys, Power Platform, and Dataverse.
• Experience administering enterprise-scale Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments.
• Deep understanding of Dataverse architecture, security models, business rules, plugins, solutions, and environment strategy.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline creation or support for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform deployments.
• Application lifecycle management and release governance experience.
• Strong experience integrating Dynamics 365 with Azure services, APIs, and third-party applications.
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
• Proven ability to lead technical design sessions and influence architecture decisions with stakeholders.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Solution Architect Expert; Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Power Platform Pipelines, and Power Platform CoE Toolkit.
• Experience with Power BI and enterprise-scale environments.
• Experience with customer engagement and contact center integrations such as Five9 or Microsoft Contact Center.
• Familiarity with deployment automation tools, governance frameworks, and cloud security best practices.
