Key Responsibilities
- Design and define integration and technology solutions aligned to business and technical requirements.
- Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective architecture.
- Develop clear solution designs, technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
- Provide guidance around APIs, messaging, event-driven architecture and data transformation.
- Work closely with development and delivery teams to ensure solutions are implemented effectively.
- Contribute to architectural decision-making and ensure solutions follow appropriate security, governance and integration principles.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support Agile delivery teams and contribute to planning, refinement and solution definition.
Skills & Experience
- Experience working in a Solution Architect or similar role, ideally within an integration or technology consultancy environment.
- A background in Business Analysis or Integration Development, particularly candidates who are progressing into an architecture-focused role.
- Strong understanding of integration concepts, including:
- REST/SOAP APIs
- Messaging patterns
- Event-driven architecture
- Data transformation
- Experience with at least one iPaaS or integration platform, such as Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi or Azure Integration Services.
- Strong ability to produce clear, structured technical documentation and architecture diagrams using tools such as Lucidchart, Visio or similar.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
Desirable Skills
- Workato experience or certification – Workato Automation Pro or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a client-facing or consultancy environment.
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow or similar.
- Understanding of data governance and API security principles.
