Role Overview

A government agency is seeking a skilled Solution Architect for involvement in an important IT project.

The current supervisory IT system faces significant challenges, necessitating an expert to analyse current systems, recommend improvements, and help design a future-proof IT architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and gather requirements for upgrades or new solutions.
• Evaluate existing technology stacks and propose effective third-party solutions.
• Produce a detailed Solution Design Document.
• Ensure solutions align with cloud standards (AWS/Azure) and internal technical requirements.
• Provide expertise in mixed method solutions inclusive of SAAS, COT, and bespoke developments.
• Facilitate system integration to comply with standards, ensuring seamless operation.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven ability in architectural analysis and design.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
• Strong grasp of existing and emerging IT systems and products suitable for the infrastructure.
• Skilled in overseeing integrations and compliance with security standards.
