Summary: The role of Contract Solutions Architect involves guiding low-complexity projects within a leading insurance business, focusing on SaaS replacements, SSO roll-outs, and data migrations. The position requires producing architecture artifacts to facilitate swift project progression while coordinating with various teams. The ideal candidate will have a broad experience in solutions architecture, particularly in regulated environments. This role offers remote flexibility and the opportunity to make impactful changes from the outset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, assess and shape incoming change requests across business areas
- Drive initiatives such as swapping SaaS tools, configuring SSO and migrating small datasets
- Produce lightweight HLDs/LLDs and governance packs that secure rapid approvals
- Coordinate closely with Security, Privacy, Enterprise Architecture and Delivery teams
- Spot and escalate scope creep or higher-risk items when needed
- Maintain momentum through agile ceremonies, stakeholder workshops and clear documentation
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a broad generalist Solutions Architect, comfortable across SaaS, integration and cloud domains
- Ability to thrive in a high-variety, fast-paced environment with quick context-switching
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, able to bring people and information together effectively
- Solid grasp of architecture fundamentals, integration patterns and SaaS/cloud principles
- Experience in regulated environments (insurance, financial services or similar) is advantageous

You’ll act as the “front door” for new requests, guiding a steady flow of low-complexity projects like SaaS replacements, SSO roll-outs and light data migrations, while creating just-enough architecture artefacts to keep work moving swiftly.
