Summary: The role of Solution Architect involves managing stakeholders and creating key architectural artifacts for a global tech transformation consultancy. The position requires a blend of technical expertise in various tech stacks and cloud platforms, alongside strong communication skills to convey complex ideas to business leaders. The role is fully remote, catering to a diverse client base including FTSE 100 companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own, create and assure key architecture artefacts such as Key Design Decision, Technical Options Paper, High Level Design, Low Level Design, Reference Architecture and Roadmap.
  • Rapidly understand and effectively communicate complex technical ideas to board-level business leaders and their teams.
  • Utilize technical writing and presentation skills supported by productivity tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
  • Apply architecture and delivery methodologies such as TOGAF, Zachmann, MODAF or SAFe.

Key Skills:

  • Stakeholder management skills.
  • Technical expertise in Microsoft and Java tech stacks.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and on-prem solutions.
  • Technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of architecture and delivery methodologies (TOGAF, Zachmann, MODAF, SAFe).
