Summary: The Solution Architect (PDH) role focuses on leading the architecture for the Product Data Hub (PDH) and its integration with Oracle CPQ and Oracle Fusion. The position requires extensive experience in e-commerce data flows, product data management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical designs and requirements. The architect will also support Agile methodologies and guide technical decisions throughout the project lifecycle. This role is remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the solution architecture for PDH (Product Data Hub) and related e-commerce data flows.
- Define data models, process flows, and integration points across Oracle Fusion ERP and downstream systems.
- Define the standardized integration strategy and patterns (e.g., API-led connectivity) for data and process flow between Oracle Commerce, Salesforce (Sales/Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.), and other enterprise systems (ERP, PDH/PIM).
- Work hands-on with product owners, architects, developers, and business teams to ensure alignment on requirements and designs.
- Prepare clear design documentation including process maps, data flow diagrams, and integration specifications.
- Support Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, refinement, design sessions, demos) and guide technical decisions throughout the release cycles.
- Work with vendor teams and internal stakeholders to review technical designs and ensure consistency with the overall architecture roadmap.
- Apply e-commerce experience to define catalog structure, product attributes, pricing flows, and publishing logic.
- Support Salesforce-related touchpoints where customer or product data overlaps.
- Identify and manage integration risks, performance considerations, and scalability needs.
Key Skills:
- 12+ years of relevant experience in a business-facing architectural or technical leadership role with strong experience in PDH/PIM, product master data, and e-commerce ecosystems.
- Deep working knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP and its integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of product data lifecycle and cross-system data flows.
- Experience in designing integrations across ERP, e-commerce, data platforms, and external systems.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud and CPQ platforms.
- Strong documentation and communication skills; able to simplify complex technical topics.
- Good exposure to Salesforce (CRM or Commerce) is an advantage.
- Comfortable operating in Agile environments; ability to work with distributed teams.
- Experience with IT Governance and Lifecycle Processes, CI/CD best practices, and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket).
