Job Description: Solution Architect
Location: Remote
We are seeking a Solution Architect accountable for the business solution designs & build in HR Technology domain for key strategic initiatives including (but not limited to) developing architectures that represent business, applications/integration, data, platform, and security architectures. The ideal candidate can provide technical direction to engineers while architecting secure, scalable enterprise solutions.
What you will do:
- End to End Solution: Accountability and oversight for designing & building solutions from cradle to grave by providing leadership and oversight to tech leads who are intimately familiar with the application.
- Buy vs Build Analysis: Able to perform Buy vs Build analysis based on the qualitative and quantitative analysis across the available options to provide a final recommendation based on the rationale.
- Architecture and design reviews: Play a key role in architecture design reviews and identify gaps and recommend design changes.
- Application profile identification: Leverage significant technical expertise and domain knowledge to identify apps optimization needs.
- Proof of concept technology support: Lead and drive proofs-of-concept and technology deep-dives specific to partner technologies.
- Whatever it takes attitude to help clear technical roadblocks: Advise and assist Application development teams with technical roadblocks such as performance challenges within a solution.
- Recommend or assess opportunities to drive cost efficiencies aimed at simplicity, configurability and eventual elimination of technical debt associated with applications.
For this role you will need Minimum Requirements:
- 15+ years of Software design/development Experience
- 2+ years in Public Cloud experience (Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience with SaaS/PaaS Platforms e.g. Workday, Oracle Cloud, MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC etc.
- SME level technical skills in the following areas: application, data, integration and, security architecture/design
- Understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database technologies as well as Cloud database technologies.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience is a must
- Experience working with technologies that work as glue between modern applications and legacy platforms e.g. Kafka.
- Proven experience in Enterprise architecture and system design.
- Strong understanding of Security framework and experience working with SSO, OAuth/SAML/OIDC-based authentication.
- Experience working with Micro services Architecture & APIs.
- Strong understanding of Container Platform and deployment patterns
- Strong understanding of Observability and implementation techniques
- Adept at collaboration and teamwork

- Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting)
