Summary: The Solution Architect role involves providing architectural support for AW's Asset Investment Planning & Management platform during its procurement phase. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver architecture artifacts in line with AW processes, policies, and technology strategy.
- Engage with finalized bidder Solution Architect and relevant colleagues from the Solution Architecture practice.
- Provide regular updates to assure timely progress and alignment with stakeholders and teams.
- Establish clear and well-understood Solution Architecture for the program delivery phase.
- Adhere to necessary architectural governance processes.
Key Skills:
- Experience in delivering High-Level Design (HLD) and Detailed Design (DLD) artifacts.
- Strong understanding of architectural governance processes.
- Ability to engage with various stakeholders and teams effectively.

Role details:
AW's Asset Investment Planning & Management (AIPM) platform is currently under a procurement phase with an existing AIPM platform already in place. Subsequent to the procurement decision, Architecture support is needed to deliver architecture artefacts in line with AW processes, policies and Technology strategy. This includes delivering HLD, DLD and other relevant artefacts and establishing clear, agreed and well -understood Solution Architecture that can be delivered as part of the programme delivery phase. This will include engagement with the finalized bidder SA, relevant colleagues from SA practice and providing regular updates to assure timely progress and alignment with relevant stakeholders and teams like Security, AW data squads, ERP etc.
Integration Landscape:
Current integrations include:
- SAP (existing integration)
- GIS (new integration requirement)
- Scheduled interfaces between SAP and current AIPM platform
Existing pattern:
- Data flows between SAP, current AIPM platform, AW Data Lake exist
- GIS Integration: Limited data feeds being ingested by AW Data Lake.
Architectural artefacts and governance Based on SI process applicable (full or light SI process) standard architectural artefacts are:
- High-Level Design (HLD)
- Detailed Design (DLD) Additional artefacts as applicable at the time like Solution Architecture Design Artefacts (SADA)
