Summary: We are seeking an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to lead cloud migration initiatives for a Federal end client. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS cloud architecture, particularly with AWS GovCloud and FedRAMP compliance. Candidates must hold an active AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional certification and possess extensive hands-on AWS experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud architectures.
  • Lead VMware to AWS migration projects using AWS Application Migration Service (MGN).
  • Develop cloud migration strategies and execute migration plans for enterprise workloads.
  • Architect solutions in compliance with FedRAMP security standards.
  • Design and deploy workloads within AWS GovCloud environments.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams throughout migration and modernization efforts.
  • Ensure AWS best practices for security, reliability, scalability, and cost optimization.
  • Produce architecture documentation, migration plans, and technical design documents.
