Key Responsibilities:
- Project engineering responsibilities span from initial concept definition to construction and final commissioning and require continuous coordination with diverse project stakeholders such as environmental, procurement, transmission services, and project managers for both early stage and construction.
- Applying value engineering to balance reliability, cost, and performance for complex systems, along with thorough knowledge of the various applicable engineering disciplines including electrical, structural, civil, and materials.
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, along with a record of coordinating project stakeholders and mobilizing teams of engineers to achieve business objectives.
- Managing schedules and budgets for major capital projects.
Key Skills:
- Minimum - Bachelor of Science in Engineering. This is a requirement. Discipline can be electrical, civil, mechanical, aerospace or chemical.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience. Exceptions can be made for less than 5 years if that experience is a good match Engineering and project management experience on utility scale solar projects is preferred.
- Engineering and project management in the following fields may also be considered: DG/commercial solar, other technologies in the power industry – wind, BESS, combined cycle, nuclear, hydrogen, substation, transmission, etc.
- Strong candidates with experience outside of the power industry (aerospace, civil/stormwater, etc).
- Great communication, leadership and project management skills.

Seeking a Project Engineer supporting solar farm design and construction. In this position, you will be responsible for managing 3rd party contractor teams to develop engineering designs for solar projects.
Location & Travel Requirements:
Remote position; however, we prefer candidates based in or near Florida. Regardless of remote status, occasional travel to our office in Juno Beach, FL will be required. During the first 3–6 months, travel to Juno Beach will be more frequent to support onboarding and team integration.
