Software Quality Assurance Tester

Summary: The Software Quality Assurance Tester role is a long-term contract position focused on testing complex web applications and all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle. The candidate will utilize testing automation tools such as Selenium and TestNG, along with advanced SQL skills, to ensure software quality. This position is fully remote and requires significant experience in software testing and programming. The role is classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing complex web applications.
• Conducting testing across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Utilizing testing automation tools like Selenium and TestNG.
• Performing advanced database and SQL language tasks.
• Programming in Java.
• Using Apache POI and Apache PDFBox for testing.
• Employing performance testing tools such as WAPT Pro and JMeter.
• Parsing web tables to verify results.
• Utilizing Zephyr Scale and JIRA for test management.

• 7 years of experience in testing complex web applications.
• 7 years of experience in testing all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• 7 years of testing automation experience with Selenium and TestNG.
• 5 years of advanced database/SQL language experience.
• 3 years of experience with Java programming language.
• 2 years of experience using Apache POI and Apache PDFBox.
• 2 years of experience with performance testing tools like WAPT Pro and JMeter.
• 3 years of experience parsing web tables to verify results.
• 2 years of previous experience with Zephyr Scale preferred.
• 2 years of previous experience with JIRA preferred.
