Summary: Dahl Consulting is seeking a Software QA Engineer-Desktop for a 3-month contract position in the Information Technology & Services industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Manual testing of SketchUp and LayOut
- Review design documents to ensure testability of new features as well as the quality of the designs
- Write test plans and test cases
- Test newly introduced or updated product features, track defects, and ensure quality of SketchUp and LayOut
- Reproduce customer issues from Support and our beta program
- Document tested fixes in release notes
Key Skills:
- 3-5 years experience testing software
- Proficiency with a defect tracking system such as JIRA
- Self-sufficient, can work with minimal guidance
- Experience with Windows or Mac platforms
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with 3D/2D modeling and visualization software (bonus)
- Scripting ability in either Ruby, Python, and/or JavaScript (bonus)
- Real world experience in the Architectural or Civil Engineering field (bonus)
- Localization testing experience a plus (bonus)

- Contract Duration: 3-months
- Worksite Location: Remote
- Pay rate: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
What you'll do in this role:- Manual testing of SketchUp and LayOut
