Summary: The role of Salesforce Marketing Cloud - Software Engineer involves designing and delivering technical solutions to enhance customer communication experiences for a leading global bank. The engineer will guide internal teams on best practices and drive innovative integrations using Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionalities. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and document scalable, best-practice solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionalities (Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Web Studio/Cloud Pages).
- Translate business requirements and user stories into robust, actionable solutions that optimize marketing workflows.
- Perform integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other platforms.
- Provide production support and lead investigations into incidents with potential out of hours support.
Key Skills:
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement experience
- Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Administrator certified
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer certified
- Knowledge of mobile app SDKs and API-based integrations
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and security protocols such as TLS, SSL, and data encryption
- Programming skills: SQL, JavaScript/SSJS, Ampscript, HTML
- Java developer experience (nice to have)
- Agile (nice to have)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
