My client has an urgent requirement for a seasoned Software Engineer with deep expertise in infrastructure automation and ideally with a solid grasp of the financial sector's demands for resilience, security, and precision?
We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our infrastructure engineering team. You'll play a critical role in designing, automating, and maintaining our platform infrastructure powering key systems.
Main Responsibilities:Lead the design and implementation of automation solutions using Ansible and Python.
Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, enabling seamless code delivery across teams.
Automate and administer VMware ESXi and vCenter environments with a focus on scalability, compliance, and performance.
Champion infrastructure best practices, security principles, and testing standards.
Key Skills:
Advanced expertise in Ansible for system and network automation.
Strong Python development background with an automation and DevOps focus.
Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins in secure environments.
Solid understanding of VMware ESXi and vCenter automation in enterprise-scale environments.
Desireable Skills:
Experience with Pytest for infrastructure or API testing (preferred over Robot Framework).
Familiarity with Robot Framework if you dont have Pytest for acceptance and regression testing.
Exposure to HashiCorp Vault for secrets and credentials management.
