Detailed Description From Employer:

Software Engineer | .NET/C# | 3 Roles Available | Fully Remote | 6 Month Contract (Extensions Likely) | Up to £600 per day Inside IR35 | SC & NPPV3 Clearances Required

MERITUS are working with a large consulting organisation specialising in Public Sector transformation projects. They're recruiting for 3 Software Developers to work with a Central Government client to deliver an important project.

If successful you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining secure and scalable software applications using .NET Framework/.NET 6+. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions that meet project objectives.

The role is fully remote & the client requires candidates to hold active SC & NPPV3 Clearances.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using C#, .NET Framework, and .NET 6+
• Build and consume XML/JSON APIs within secure environments
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support requirements gathering and analysis
• Write and execute MSTest unit tests to ensure high software quality

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework and .NET 6+
• Proven experience working with XML/JSON APIs
• Knowledge of MSTest or similar testing frameworks
• Ability to gather and analyse technical requirements effectively

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Docker and Oracle SQL
• Familiarity with Postman and Swagger for API testing and documentation
• Basic understanding of Powershell Scripting
