Summary: The role of Siebel Developer involves joining a technology team to design, develop, and migrate Siebel CRM solutions. The position requires enhancing existing systems and delivering integrations with external applications while supporting large-scale migration projects. The developer will participate in the full software development lifecycle and ensure system stability and performance. This is a remote position with occasional visits to London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure and develop Siebel CRM applications to meet evolving business requirements.
- Support migration projects, including data migration, environment upgrades and platform transitions.
- Deliver robust integrations between Siebel and third-party systems using Siebel EAI, web services, APIs and middleware.
- Customise Siebel objects (Applets, Views, Business Components, Workflows, eScript, VB) to extend system functionality.
- Participate across the full SDLC: analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment and ongoing support.
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure system stability, performance, and scalability.
- Provide documentation, best practice guidance, and technical support to stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Proven hands-on experience as a Siebel Developer.
- Strong knowledge of Siebel architecture, configuration, and scripting (eScript, VB).
- Practical experience with Siebel migrations (upgrades, data migration, environment refresh).
- Expertise in Siebel integrations using EAI, web services (SOAP/REST), APIs or MQ.
- Proficiency in Oracle databases, SQL and PL/SQL.
- Familiarity with Agile ways of working and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with Siebel 24.X+ (nice to have).
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD or cloud-based deployments (nice to have).
