Software Engineer III

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote Software Engineer III to join their team. This role will play a critical part in supporting production systems and delivering full stack solutions using .NET and React.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide hands-on production support for critical applications
* Develop and maintain backend services using .NET
* Build and enhance front-end interfaces using React
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement improvements
* Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents as needed
* Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are met

REQUIREMENTS:
* Must be eligible for CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services) certification
* Strong experience with .NET (C#) backend development
* Proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
* Experience supporting production environments and resolving live issues
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, has strong troubleshooting skills, and is open to on-call responsibilities
* Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call support

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in secure environments or with government/compliance standards
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
* Prior experience in a hybrid or remote work setting

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
