Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues.
- Document software development processes and solutions.
- Implement application features and perform maintenance tasks.
- Prepare pull requests and conduct code reviews.
- Research implementation techniques and investigate issues.
- Participate in QA activities and sprint meetings.
- Provide timely updates on work progress.

Our client is seeking a Software Developer for a contract-to-hire, remote role (must be able to work on Eastern Time).
Within the Xcenda business unit, the software developers main responsibilities are designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of our users and stakeholders. Software developers also troubleshoot and debug issues and provide documentation for their work. They work with a team of developers and other related functions to deliver high-quality software.
Contract Duration: 6 Months

- Must have experience with:
- Development in the following technologies: Blazor, Razor, C#, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and MS SQL Server
- Object-oriented programming
- Integrating third party components/libraries such as MudBlazor, and Aspose
- Experience applying project requirements to database table design and working with stored procedures/queries, SQL functions, and ORM frameworks
- Knowledge of design patterns and common data structures required
- Manage the application programming interfaces for communication between client-side and server-side backend using Web APIs
- Developing reusable library codes and components
- Single Page Applications with focus on cross browser and responsive interfaces
- Ability to implement efficient coding practices and apply these practices to new platforms and development tools (languages)
- Ability to work independently, perform code reviews of existing projects to understand assigned tasks and adhere to programming standards
- Experience that is an asset:
- ASP.NET, VB.NET, Web Services, MVC, and AngularJS is an asset
- Familiarity with modular design and programming to create dynamic and reusable features
- Able to analyze SQL queries for performance optimizations
- Azure cloud services
- Azure Cognitive services
- Azure DevOps
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or a related field) or training in the technologies listed in the minimum skills
- 5+ years of experience in a software development role
