Summary: The Software Engineer role focuses on developing and maintaining scalable, full-stack web applications using Next.js and Node.js. This position is remote with occasional client visits and is offered on a contract basis for three months, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full-stack development and a strong understanding of various technologies, including React and TypeScript. The role requires effective communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable, full-stack web applications using Next.js and Node.js.
- Utilize a range of technologies including React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Implement and manage Azure and ARM templates for cloud infrastructure development and deployment.
- Apply BDD, TDD, and SOLID principles in software development.
- Demonstrate strong Object-Oriented programming and microservice architecture skills.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in full-stack application development.
- Working knowledge of React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Experience with Azure and ARM templates.

Our client, an established and successful Consultancy are looking for a number of experienced Developers to join them on a contract basis
With head offices in the north of the UK and branches spreading across the globe, they're a dynamic technology consultancy leader with a dedicated team of professionals, partnering with sector leaders
This is a completely hands-on role where you will develop and maintain scalable, full-stack web applications using Next.js and Node.js
We are looking for:
- Demonstrable and proven experience in full-stack applications (inc. working knowledge of a range of technologies such as React, Node.js and TypeScript).
- Experience with Azure and ARM templates including dev and deployment of supporting cloud infrastructure (inc. pipelines).
- Excellent, in-depth understanding of BDD, TDD and SOLID principles.
- In-depth experience in rock-solid Object-Oriented programming, enterprise integration skills and microservice architecture skills
- Ability to articulate to non-technical people, technical concepts in a way they understand
