Summary: The role of Software Developer / Application Support requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 7 years in Java development and 3 years of full-stack experience. The candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting Java applications, including web and batch applications, while also implementing test automation and working within Agile methodologies. Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, and various web technologies is essential, along with effective communication and problem-solving skills. The position is remote and requires a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and support Java applications, including web and batch applications.
- Implement test automation for unit tests, functional tests, regression tests, and performance tests.
- Work with Oracle DB query development, including Hibernate in Spring Framework.
- Utilize Playwright for test automation and manage CI/CD processes with Jenkins.
- Collaborate in Agile development environments and utilize Version One.
- Maintain and expand existing applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and Struts.
- Develop web pages using JavaScript, TypeScript, JSP, HTML, jQuery, and CSS.
- Build RESTful API applications with high throughput and secure controls.
- Write functional tests using automation testing frameworks.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
