Summary: The Interim Social Media Manager at Phorest will lead the global social media strategy during the current manager's maternity leave. This role involves overseeing organic social media campaigns, managing a small team, and collaborating across departments to enhance brand presence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and content creation skills, with a focus on creativity and strategic thinking. The position is remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of organic global social media campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Oversee day-to-day handling of organic social media channels (Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Instagram), ensuring content is adapted to each platform, is aligned with Phorest’s goals and reflects Phorest’s values.
  • Educate staff on the effective use of social media and promote its use within Phorest.
  • Work closely with the demand generation team to provide creative assets for paid social media campaigns.
  • Monitor social media reports, turning insights into actionable recommendations to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and create campaigns to support them in achieving their goals.
  • Develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote Phorest.
  • Manage and mentor a small team, ensuring high standards for content quality and brand consistency.
  • Create engaging and authentic content, including on-camera appearances for social media.
  • Test new ideas and trends while aligning with business goals.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience managing social media for a brand, with proven success in audience growth, engagement, and campaign performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong proficiency in Canva and content creation, including TikTok videos.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills tailored for each platform.
  • Comfortable filming yourself for social content.
  • Experience using analytics tools to track and report on the success of campaigns.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities across multiple regions.
  • A passion for creativity, storytelling, and leveraging trends to create impactful social media campaigns.
  • Experience in online community management with a balance of fostering meaningful connections and driving leads.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and collaborate across teams.
