Social Listening Consultant - Contract

Summary: The Social Listening Consultant will engage with a global pharmaceutical company's respiratory portfolio, focusing on the Japanese market to analyze patient and caregiver conversations. The role involves executing Boolean queries, monitoring health-related discussions, and synthesizing insights to inform brand strategy. The consultant will present findings and collaborate with a project lead and other analysts to ensure consistency across markets. This position is remote and offers a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, refine, and execute Boolean queries in Brandwatch and Keyword.io.
• Monitor and analyze conversations around sleep disruption, colds, flu, viral infections, and respiratory functions.
• Aggregate insights from online forums, social media channels, and review sites.
• Identify trends, sentiment shifts, and emerging themes.
• Craft concise narratives and slide-ready summaries for presentations.
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to the project lead and wider team.
• Collaborate with analysts covering other markets to ensure consistency and share best practices.

Key Skills:

• Fluent Japanese speaker.
• Proficient in Brandwatch (mandatory) and Keyword.io (strongly preferred).
• Proven track record in Boolean query writing/editing.
• Ability to gather and interpret social, search, and review data.
• Clear and engaging commentary and presentation skills.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight timelines.
• Excellent verbal and written English; fluency in Japanese.
